Spring! (But snow first)

Spring is in the air here on Mallorca with the first Almond blossom out, but before the warmer weather arrives we are forecasting a 'chilly' week ahead with snow on the mountains above 1000 feet!
With Easter early this year we are busy preparing our fleet for another busy season.

Snow on the mountains!

December the1st, three weeks to Christmas and some snow on the mountains to remind us that Winter really is here!
We have just lit the wood burner for a cosy evening watching TV with a good bottle of wine!
It is a wonderful quiet time here in Mallorca, time to reflect on a busy year and to plan for the hot weather and hectic boating schedule of next Summer.

Autumnal skies

While the sun is still shining and the pool is still 26 degrees, autumn is in the offing!
We have had some wonderful sunsets recently, turning the wispy clouds various hews of red, orange and purple.
We love the changing seasons of Mallorca!

British P.M. holidaying in Mallorca.

Both David Cameron and Bradley Wiggins have chosen the beautiful North Coast of Mallorca for a holiday this Summer.
Bradley following his 'Yellow Jersey' successes in the Tour de France and the London Olympics was seen without his 'wheels' relaxing in Pollensa.
David and  Samantha Cameron were spotted enjoying a coffee in the square and then with their Children on the beach in the bay of Pollensa.
If they decide to take to the water, Mallorca Cruising have the best selection of luxury charter boats this end of the island, we await the phone call!

Spring boating fairs

With the cancellation of this years Palma International boat show, marine businesses on Mallorca have arranged two alternative boating events to showcase the Islands potential.

The Mallorca Superyacht Days in Port Adriano where over forty Superyachts of 24m and above will be on show, dates 28th-30th April.
Then in May we have the Portals Nautical weekend showcasing all things Nautical from tenders and chandlery to luxury motor yachts, dates 26th 28th May
Mallorca Cruising support these initiatives to promote the Balearic Islands as a World Class Cruising area and hope that you will too!
